
Caleb Tappan
Caleb brings a remarkable background of 20 years of service in U.S. Army Special Operations, along with 9 years in law enforcement. Caleb began as an Army Ranger assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, where his precision and strategic thinking were first honed. He then progressed on to Special Forces, serving as a Communications Sergeant before being selected for assignment to the U.S. Army Special Operations Command. These assignments demonstrated his versatility and ability to excel in high-pressure situations. Moving from the roles of Assault Team member to Sniper/Reconnaissance Team Operator and Sniper/Reconnaissance Assistant Team Leader, he further solidified his reputation as a critical asset in the global war on terror. Being promoted to Assault Team Leader, Caleb took on a leadership role, and responsibility for guiding his team through complex and demanding situations. His time as a Special Forces Senior Communications Sergeant showcased his proficiency in communication technologies and his aptitude for coordinating operations seamlessly. Five years of cumulative time in combat during the war on terror, spread throughout 13 combat deployments, forged a leadership style and perspective on current events that lends a unique approach to problem solving. Caleb currently serves as a Deputy Sheriff with the Flathead County Sheriff's Office. With his background in both military special operations and law enforcement, Caleb brings a unique blend of skills, experience, and dedication to Salus Strategies.
